Reading and writing to do for Monday

I've just posted the texts for Monday. Read Gloria Anzaldua from Borderlands/La Frontera: The New Mestiza and Anne Waldman from Fast Speaking Woman. These are very short readings; 20 pages total. I'd like you to post a reading response by Sunday at 8pm. 

The instructions for your post are the same as always with two extra specifications:
1) make sure you say something about the connection between the two readings
2) please do a little bit of internet research about Maria Sabina before reading Fast Speaking Woman. Just spend a few minutes online in order to learn about who she was. There's even a documentary (in Spanish) you can watch on YouTube.

As always, make sure you print out and bring the readings with you to class.
